Winter

We spotted lots of signs of winter during our winter picnic.  It was cold (although, bizarrely not as cold as our autumn one!) We noticed that the woodlands looks quite bare at this time of year due to the leaves falling from the trees.  Although we did spot that beech trees tend to keep their leaves after they have turned brown rather than dropping them like other trees do in winter.
