Mrs Simpson's Year 1 Boys Writing Group

How exciting! Naughty Bus has continued his adventures. These Year 1 boys came to read their extended stories about the further adventures of 'Naughty Bus' to Year 6. Class 11 were amazed and even spotted noun phrases and a simile used by Year 1. The younger children were so excited to read their work and we were wowed by their content and handwriting.

4 talented Year 6 writers were given the opportunity to flex their creative writing muscles at a writing workshop led by 'Pobble'. We created our own scary stories and built up tension and intrigue. 4 similar starting points but 4 very different stories illustrating how independent and talented our writers are.
Year 6 have loved 'The Wizard of Oz'. Read all about it in our newspapers.
