English

We have been learning how to use a dictionary. A dictionary is written in alphabetical order.

To launch ‘What’s your story Chorley’, the author Susan Brownrigg visited school to talk to us about her inspiration behind the Gracie Fairshaw series of books.

In our spelling lessons, we have been learning about root words and their prefixes. We looked at words with the prefixes super, anti and auto and used their meanings to help us sort the root words into groups according to their prefix.
