Greek Pottery
Beech class have been exploring all about Ancient Greek pottery. We learned how they were used for different functions and had many different designs. We have tried out creating some of the geometric pattern designs that could often be found on them and zoomed in on different sections of the pots to explore their shape.
After our sketching of a variety of Greek pots, we created our own coil pots using clay. We enjoyed learning to use different clay techniques, including scoring and slipping.

We looked closely at each other's artwork and gave some feedback for what we liked about each other's clay coil pots and what we thought went well.
