Outdoor Workshops

Cedar Class enjoyed their time in the woodlands, making flowers from wood shavings, a Christmas tree made from our own wood and decorating a wooden disc.

We loved using local wood from our trees to make Christmas trees, we used a shaving horse to make our flowers and practised using a lathe to spin and shape wood.

Ash Class had a great time learning outdoors. The children helped weave a hazel fence, made a wooden flower and decoration and drew with charcoal. Thank you Paula and Twiggy!

We had a fantastic session with the ladies from Greenwood Twiggs!  All of the children made a flower out of wood, they decorated a wooden Christmas bauble, we made a picture using chalk and stones and weaves some wood to make a fence!
