Locational Knowledge

We worked in teams to explore capital cities of Europe.  Mrs Casey gave us a variety of European flags and we first had to identify which country the flag represented.  We then had to locate the country in an atlas and find out what the capital city was.  We could present our work how we decided.  Some capitals were easier than others!
Lower Key Stage 2 begun their Lake District topic by working in groups to explore different photos from the region.  We looked closely at the photos for clues that would tell us more about the region.  We came up with some super what, where, when, why and how questions that we had about the photographs.  We are looking forward to learning more all about the Geography of this fascinating place.
