The Vikings

The Vikings made their home in Britain. We found out about life as a Viking and played the Longhouse game to help us learn the facts. We know that plates and bowls were made from wood and they only used a knife to eat. Forks hadn’t been invented yet. Women wore tunics and these were held up by 2 brooches. Vikings were originally Pagans until they converted to Christianity. We know that most of their churches were mad3 from wood with very intricate carvings. Their alphabet letters were called rebels and there were only 16 of them. These ar3 just a few of the facts that we learnt.
