We planted them in different conditions to see what they needed to grow. This linked in nicely with how to care for living plants. We then tasted the cress once it had grown. We also planted sunflower seeds and vegetables ready to plant outside next term. We then added these to our garden centre role play area for the children to actively take care of them and observe them during their play.
