Our Year 5 Debating Team were delighted to be the overall winners for our area of Chorley for this year's debate.  As finalists, we were invited along with five other schools to take part in the final of the debate at County Hall in Preston.  We had an amazing day delivering our presentation to a panel of judges, answering their questions and then we even got a tour of the debating chambers.  Our presentation was all about how we feel that Chorley has a litter problem around our community.  We spoke about why we think there is a problem in our town and then we described our ideas for helping to tackle it.  Freya was named as best overall individual speaker and the whole team received a trophy and goody bag.
