We used different ingredients to represent the different components of blood. We added yellow food colouring to represent the plasma. Cheerios were used to represent the red blood cells. We added red food colouring to represent the haemoglobin. We used mini marshmallows to represent the white blood cells and finally strawberry laces were chopped up to represent the sticky platelets.
