YEAR 4 - USING A GIANT NUMBER LINE TO HELP US ROUND TO THE NEAREST 1000
We know that 500 is half of 1000. We plotted 1500, 2500, 3500 and so on.
We could plot other numbers and actually see if it was closer to 1000 or 2000.
We realised that the 500 was key - we needed to look at the hundreds column and decide if we should round up or down depending on the hundreds digit.
