We played a game called '24' in Hawthorn today to improve our mental additions. We tried to use our number bonds to help or doubling and near doubles to quickly add.

Each player has 5 cards and the first to make 24 wins. You can swop a card and take from the pile to try to make the magic number of 24. Royal cards are worth 10 and Ace is either 1 or 11.

Playing in pairs or three's is best.
