Beech class explored the big question of:

'Why is the Guru Granth Sahib so valued by Sikh people?'

We reflected on people or things that guide us and took part in a diamond ranking activity to help us think about this.  We had a lot of interesting justifications for our choices in the ranking.

We watched a video clip, where a Sikh girl explained why the Guru Granth Sahib is so important to Sikh followers.  We learned that the holy book is seen as the 11th Guru and is treated as a living thing.  We were really interested to find out why it is treated with so much respect.
