Careers Fair
Beech class had the opportunity to take part in the amazing experience of attending our very own school careers fair. There were so many different people from different backgrounds with a rich variety of different jobs to speak to. The children had thought carefully about the questions they wanted to ask them about their chosen career path and the great aspects about their job. Here are some comments from the children after attending the fair:
"I learned that you need a Maths and English GCSE to become a policeman." (Jacob)
"I didn't know that there is a job to help people with their anxiety and sleep." (Millie)
"I enjoyed learning all about the different jobs and getting lots of free things!" (Mollie)
"I was inspired seeing the man teach us how to make a plane engine." (Tommy)
"I learned that Rolls Royce design aircraft, not just cars." (Freddie)
"I didn't know that some jobs require certain qualities." (Jessie)
"I thought before that being a photographer didn't need much practising, but you need a lot!" (Dylan)
"I was surprised that you can teach people older than you." (Harper)
I learned that if you are not good at one thing, but you want it as a job, you can progress and work hard and do it." (Freya)
