WW2 Paul Nash Inspired Art
Year 5 have been exploring the work of Paul Nash, who was an official war artist for WW1 and WW2. We reflected on our own interpretations of some of his artwork and what messages we thought he wanted to convey through his art.
We looked closely at Spitfire planes from WW2 and sketched different parts up close considering the shape and shading we would need.
Next, we worked towards drawing a sketch of the whole plane. Our next step is to create a Paul Nash inspired collage. Keep your eyes peeled for our finished designs.
