ROUNDING NUMBERS TO 1000 in small groups

More practise with a number line (skipping rope)!

Steps to Success for 6495:

  1. Decide which thousand it might be- 6000 or 7000
  2. Now check the hundreds column - look at 6500
  3. If it’s over 500 round up, if it’s under 500 round down
