On Wednesday 25th September, Beech class marked European Languages Day.  We had to be code breakers and look for patterns in the different sentences to see if we could work out the word for sister in the different languages.  It was interesting to see the patterns that were similar across the different languages and we had fun trying to say the sentences with a partner.

Oak Class discussed the importance of learning different languages and how being able speak another language might benefit them now and in the future. They came up with lots of good ideas! After this they compared 8 different languages, spotting similarities and differences between them all. Great work, Oak Class!
