We conducted an experiment to show the importance of washing our hands. We placed 4 pieces of apple into jars. 1 untouched, 1 after being touched by dirty hands, 1 touched after a quick wash and 1 touched after a controlled wash. We observed this over time and the results showed that the piece of apple that had been touched by dirty hands had grown bacteria.
