Today we discussed the changes that happen to trees throughout the year. We learned how the leaves and buds start to grown in Spring, the leaves are green in Summer, in Autumn the leaves turned orange and brown and start to fall of the trees. Finally in Winter, the laves have all fallen off and the trees are bare.

We have then created a piece of artwork to show the changes.

To end our “Naughty Bus” topic, we have made our own buses! Here is us painting out boxes!
We have started to add our windows and wheels!
Look at our buses!
This afternoon we have put our mixing skills into practice! We have made our own colour wheel! We had to investigate which primary colours to mix to make the secondary colours that we needed!
This afternoon we have been exploring primary colours! We have mixed paint together to see what colours they make!
This afternoon we read a beautiful story called “The Dot”. It is about a little girl who thinks she can’t draw. Through positive encouragement from her teacher, she starts to believe in herself.  We discussed that everybody is different, everybody has strengths and weaknesses. This afternoon the children are creating their own “dot”. Some children have decided to use pencil crayons and some are using paint!
