Design and Technology

Cedar Class had an initial exploration of pneumatics, using different size syringes and tubing.

To display our photos of the fishes we made, we examined a selection of photo frames and then made and evaluated our own.

Sewing skills next! We used running stitch to sew up our fish, then added fins and scales with a glue gun.

We practised our cutting skills by making faces and creating different expressions.

Following on from sketching the Eiffel Tower in art we then had a go at building it with rolled up tubes of paper. We tried to think about the strength of the structure.
