Class Led Worship

Class 11 led us in our final class worship of the school year where they explored the theme of ‘Justice’.

18/05/2017 Class 2 led worship about 'Prayer'. We told the meaning of the Lord's Prayer and talked about why we pray.

The theme for the Class 6 Assembly was trust. We talked about what trust was and then told the story of Noah who trusted in God, using storytelling actions.

Class 5's school assembly was about 'courage.' We talked about when we were brave and we told the story about 'Daniel and the Lions' from the bible. Daniel showed courage when he continued to worship God even though he was told not to by the King. Daniel put his trust in God and God saved him.

Class 4 celebrated 'Hope' in our class worship. The children told the story how the Israelites were told to leave their homes and not to follow God. God sent a message through John the Baptist to a man called Isaiah to tell the Israelites that the light was coming. Jesus came and showed them there was light and hope.
Class 3 retold the story of David and Goliath using storytelling actions.  David had a growth mindset because he didn't give up when he was faced with a challenge.  He had faith in himself and in God.

Class 8's assembly had a very clear message to the children and parents watching. We should all try to have a growth mindset in order to achieve our goals. We can all do it if we keep on trying and never give up. The story of Joseph reinforced the fact that we should persevere in everything we do.

Class 7 led an inspiring worship about resilience.
