Design Technology
Beech class had a fantastic visit from Junior Stem Lego becoming robotic engineers. We built programmable monkeys out of Lego and then after building them we had to use different algorithms to programme them to move, speak and play different songs. We then learned how to use sensors to control them and get them to perform different actions.

Sewing skills - we were rehearsing our sewing skills before creating a leather sleeve for the Highwayman’s dagger
We really enjoyed learning about the world of engineering and in particular, Exploring the life and work of James Dyson. We were product analysts this afternoon that investigated the mechanics behind the Air Multiplier Fan and we were really impressed at how powerful and safe this fan is!
