As part of our celebration topic, we learnt all about how weddings take place and the roles people have. We then decided to have our own wedding! The children loved learning about the special day!

Holy Week and Easter garden

Today we played a game recognising our own name, we then practised writing them. We are going to find out who chose our names and why!!! We wrote our name on a big hand to show we are all part of Class 2.
We talked about what colour our skin is. Everyone is different and no-one is pink or white. We used mirrors to look at our skin colours, hair and eyes. Then we painted wonderful self portraits.
The children looked inside a box to see something very special, inside the box was a mirror. The children then spoke about the fact that they are all special.
