Bonfire Night!

This afternoon the children have learnt all about the history of Bonfire night. They have learnt all about the House of Parliament bonfire plot. They know about Guy Fawkes and how he wanted to blow the House of Parliament up but it was stopped as one if the guards received a letter telling them about the plot. The children have learnt that we a bonfire and fireworks to remind us what could have happened. They also know the reason of having a dummy of Guy Fawkes on the bonfire. There will be lots of photographs on the website shortly.
