Art

We are continuing to develop our digital art skills by looking at the work of Micheal Craig Martin who uses lines, shapes and block colour to create digital images of everyday objects. We used our pens to create our first image before moving onto other objects in the classroom. Here are a few of our digital pictures! Wow!

We read an amazing book by Charlie Mackesy ‘The Boy, The Fox, the Mole and the Horse. This is a beautiful book about the joys of friendship, love and the support we can give one another in times of need. Sometimes a little word or phrase can make a huge difference to someone. Oak Class have used their skills to create their own page of this stunning book.

We used digital art to develop our self portrait skills. We used keynote to insert a picture of ourselves and then we used drawing tools to crest our images. Wow!

Good to be back! Good to be me! We have developed our drawing skills by using pencil to draw our eyes, nose and mouth before drawing our self portraits!

We have been developing our drawing and colour mixing skills. Our birds are linked to our text ‘Every Child A Song’.

We developed our skills further by making a wire bird! Wire is tricky to use but we did it!
