The Life Education Bus visited our school. We learnt about our bodies and how we are all unique.

We listened to the story of 'The Ugly Duckling' and discussed the feelings of the duckling throughout the story. We did 'Freeze Frames' to show the feelings at different points in the story.

We have been thinking about how we show respect, consideration and politeness to others. We acted out different scenarios to show how we should behave in certain situations.

Warburtons came to speak to us about eating a healthy balanced diet. We discussed the different food groups and created our own 'rainbow sandwich.'

Getting to know each other. We answered questions about ourselves to get to know each other in our first week....helped by smarties!

In groups, we created a list of what will make Class 8 a happy classroom this year.
