Hawthorn visited Cedar Class today to read our stories based on 'The Farmer and the Clown'. This picture book has no words so Hawthorn have written our own versions and hopefully hooked our audience. Cedar wrote a book review with their thoughts and advice for the writer.

Jaguar is 'sitting' - short vowel sound = double the last letter and then add -ing

Monkey is 'hanging' so just add -ing

Snake is 'sliding' - root word ends in 'e' so drop the 'e' and add -ing
