Design Technology

We followed a recipe to prepare and cook our own savoury pretzel based snacks. We then evaluated our finished product and considered what went well and what we could improve next time.

We taste tested a variety of savoury and pretzel based snacks to explore the different textures, appearance and flavours. This analysis will help us when we come to make and design our own pretzels! We explored a range of sensory descriptors which helped us to more accurately describe the texture and taste. Some of the words were new to us, such as piquant and bland.
