Science

Science investigation to show what happens to food passing through our digestive system!

Drawing around each other to label our digestive system!

We have started to think about materials. This week we have explored the properties of solids, liquids and gases.

This week we have been describing the properties of solids and through our biscuit experiment, found out that that they can be poured but will land in a pile rather than a puddle.

In Science the children were investigating which drinks are bad for your teeth. We placed eggshells in 4 different liquids. They were water, milk, fruit juice and coke. The children predicted that coke would be the worst but they were very surprised when the fruit juice had the worst outcome! The children particularly enjoyed how revolting Mrs Nelson found looking at the results.
