The Twelve Days of Christmas

To celebrate Christmas around the world each class presented a Worship on Zoom to the school.

Hawthorn celebrated a Russian Christmas. The children read the story of Papa Panov to the whole school. We watched a wintery video of the city of St. Petersburg who is named after our St. Peter www.youtube.com/watch?v=8iSBVIHCRdc

Elm class learned all about how Christmas is celebrated in the Philippines. We have a child in our class who was born there so they enjoyed telling us about how he celebrates Christmas at home.

Beech class found out all about Christmas traditions in Norway.  We were interested to learn about why Norway gift a Christmas tree every year to the United Kingdom.  You can see the tree in Trafalgar Square in London.  We also made traditional Norwegian heart decorations, which are hung on the tree.
