This afternoon we received a letter from Cinderella! She has been invited to a.very posh ball at the palace. She explained that normally she would have her fairy godmother to turn a pumpkin into something but she's on holiday in Mexico. She decided to ask the children in class 4 to make her a mode of transport to take her to the ball. She said it must be waterproof and she must be able to see out of it. We wrote a list of different modes of transport and we shortlisted and decided to make her a carriage!
We cut the dowell ready to attach the wheels!
This afternoon  we have made a fruit salad! The children, cut, peeled and even scraped their own fruit! There  were lots of different so as melon, strawberries, pineapple, oranges, and kiwis, apples, bananas and even a pomelo! The children then enjoyed eating the fruit salad!
This afternoon we had to think of a way to attach our wheels to the carriage. We were then able to decorate them ensuring that they were transparent and waterproof!
The finished carriages!
