Class Worship

Today in our class worship we were thinking about trust. We had to trust our partner to guide us around the cones!

Class 4 celebrated 'Hope' in our class worship. The children told the story how the Israelites were told to leave their homes and not to follow God. God sent a message through John the Baptist to a man called Isaiah to tell the Israelites that the light was coming. Jesus came and showed them there was light and hope.
This morning we read the story of David and Goliath. We then acted out the story in two groups! We discussed that when you have God on your side you can complete anything!

Today in our class worship, we read the story of 'The Lost Sheep'. We thought about how the man, who had lost 1 of his 100 sheep had persevered to find it. The children were then set a challenge to use chop sticks to move pasta from one cup to another. At first the children found this difficult but they all persevered and by the end of the activity they had all improved and were more confident. We discussed the persevering isn't about who finishes first, it is about our own personal challenges.
