Earth Day 2022 - Today, Oak class spent some time thinking about how they could protect our planet from further damage. The children each wrote a pledge and promised to try to make an individual difference to ensure that future generations inherit a planet that hasn't been destroyed . Afterwards, we went outside and took part in a 'Trashion Show' where the children had made an item to wear out of things they would usually throw away! Everyone had a lot of fun and learned some important messages about how we can all have an impact on the environment and climate change!

Where’s Wally? Today, we were using 6 figure grid references to find where in Chorley Wally had visited. We learned how to use the symbols on an Ordnance Survey map to accurately record Wally’s location!
