King's Coronation

We have had a brilliant day celebrating the King's coronation.  We made our own crowns to wear to our street party lunch, carried out a treasure hunt outside where we needed to hunt down clues to find out information about the coronation and we also found out the significance of different parts of the coronation ceremony including the coronation chair, stone of Scone, St Edward's crown and the orb and sceptre. We are looking forward to spotting these important features when we watch the coronation ceremony.

Key Stage 2 Celebrations

Year 6 had a great day celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III. We made crowns and looked at the family tree for the royal family. We enjoyed our lunch wearing our crowns!
