Art

Today we are finishing our Easter story unit with some art work. We are choosing colours which represent the Easter story as one of sadness, followed by happiness.

This afternoon we used chalk to create a self portrait!
This afternoon we watched the story ‘The Dot’. It’s a story about a girl that thinks she’s not very good at ART In her ART lesson she was asked to draw a picture. In the first lesson she only drew a ‘a dot’ but rather than giving up she kept making her ‘dot ‘ even better. Elm class then designed their own ‘dot’ using different media such as paint, crayons and pastels.
