We have had lots of fun in science week making different rockets!

We have been exploring different materials to make a parachute.

In science we have been investigating materials. We have used different socks to see which would stretch the furthest and then we looked at other materials to compare. We found out old socks stretch further than new socks and that some materials like plastic could not be stretched.

We have been learning about habitats in science. We used natural materials outside to make new habitats for local animals and creatures.

In science we have been looking at ourselves. We have learnt about being healthy and how to look after our body's. We explored different food groups and how our favourite exercises help us to keep fit.

We have been learning all about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. Look how much we learnt and what we made!

The opticians came to school and told us all about how important it was to look after our eyes.

They showed us what it would be like if we couldn't see and gave us a goodie bag to remember.
