Mr Anwar’s Visit

Judaism - the children made a Star of David

We visited Church.

We listened to the Bible story about Jacob’s dream. We then looked at the work of Marc Chagall and the used pastels to represent the story.

We made Easter cakes.

We spotted lots of objects in the Last Supper picture.

We went on the Easter Garden Hunt and then spent time reflecting.

We are learning about Easter symbols. We made wire crosses.

We discussed the concept "Salvation". We had to decide where to place the Easter story on the "Big Frieze" .

Easter Symbols! We enjoyed finding out about why we eat special foods at Easter.

We had fun celebrating Chinese New Year.

We wrote a letter in role, as a leper thanking Jesus.

The Big Story is...

We thought carefully about the concepts: Creation, God, Incarnation, Gospel and Salvation. After thinking about each one carefully, we placed them on " The Big Frieze".

The Big Story! We used magnifying glasses and became Bible detectives.

Remembrance Day

Father Peter visited to talk to us about why the Bible is special.

We enjoyed learning about Diwali. We made Diwali cards and divas.

We made a class Bible which contained our favourite stories.

We enjoyed looking at different Bibles.
