World War 2 Day

We had a wonderful time at our World War 2 day that we held in school.  We wrote our own motivational speeches in the style of Winston Churchill and then used an app called 'Animate Anything' so that Churchill could read out our words.  We made model Spitfire planes, filled out our own identification cards, created drama freeze frames of different scenarios from wartime, learned how to lindy-hop as well as found out about famous singers and songs from that time period.  We also learned more about the artwork of official war artist, Paul Nash, and created our own Nash inspired collages.
