Exploring primary and secondary colours by mixing 🎨

Creating our own colour wheels 🎨

We went down to the woodlands to look for seasonal changes. Each child collected an autumnal leaf and we cut the leaf in half. The children then drew the other side of the leaf looking at the colours and pattens. They used chalks and practised smudging colours together to create the desired effect.

We practised our drawing skills using images of animals. The children explored shading with pencils, crayons, chalks and charcoals 😁
