Raging Rivers

The Water Cycle

We have learnt about the water cycle and used the correct vocabulary to describe the process. After drawing our own diagrams to show the cycle, we made our own water world using compost and cress seeds. These will show the water cycle in action.

The Journey of a River

We have been finding out facts about the journey a river makes before reaching the sea. We looked at lots of different photos of rivers around the UK and named the parts of the river shown - source, tributary, confluence, delta, ox bow lake, meander, estuary and mouth.

We created models to show the journey of a river and labelled the features.
