WOW Events!

Wow! What an amazing day we've had at Mrs Dowson's Farm! We started the day by bottle feeding lambs, we then learnt all about the larger farm animals such as water buffalos, lamas who all had names linked to ice cream flavours, manx sheep and cows. We then looked at the smaller farm animals and we were able to stroke a chick and a rabbit.

After lunch, we played a game of "guess the ice cream" flavour, had a play on the extremely fun play area and then we ended the day sampling the famous "Mrs Dowson's Ice Cream!

We even met Mrs Dowson herself!

We’ve had lots of fun celebrating World Book Day! We started the day with a Gruffalo hunt in the woods, we held our Spelling Bee final, we watched the masked reader and tried to guess the grown ups reading in school and then we went to the library to read some books! 📚🌍

Today we celebrated "Bedtime Story Day". We came to school wearing our pyjamas or comfy clothes and brought our favourite books. We have enjoyed finding new and exciting places to read as we discussed reading can take you anywhere!

We have started “World Mental Health Day” by thinking of things we can do to help our mindfulness so we are doing colouring whilst listening to some calming music 🎵 🖍️
