The day Luna came to visit...
All week, we have been working on the poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ by John McCrae. We have dug deep to reflect on what the different lines mean and explored the imagery in the poem. We have worked on learning the poem by heart, so we could perform it as a class. We learned about using correct intonation, volume and tone for the different verses.

In our guided reading we have been reading about the death and burial of Richard III. We re-enacted this to help us to understand what happened!
Jabberwocky! The Y5 children have been investigating the nonsense poem 'Jabberwocky' - it has been a lot of fun!
