Maths No Problem

Year 3 Maths group had a splashing time investigating volume and capacity.  We worked in small groups to practise reading different scales and then measured accurately the capacity of different containers.
We have begun our work on 'Length' by working practically to measure accurately.  We worked with a group to estimate different lengths and heights in the class and then used measuring tapes to find out the exact measurement.  We had to record our answers using metres and centimetres.
