Geography

Elm Class went out to the field and drew what they could see in each direction. They talked about whether the things they drew were human or physical features and then worked in pairs to complete a table. Finally they looked at maps of Chorley and London and labelled and compared them.

The children enjoyed finding London landmarks on a map and writing the grid reference.

The children enjoyed creating an Earth and writing their own Earth Day Promise.

We programmed the Bee Bots to move from one capital city to another.

We looked at an aerial view and map of a village, town and city. We worked together to label the features of each.

We drew our own maps.

We used physical features to create a map. We then explained the places the Gingerbread Man had visited.
