EARTH DAY IN HAWTHORN CLASS Year 3 and 4
We were inspired by one of Greta Thunberg's speeches to work in pairs to design our paper-less poster. Together we can make a difference - it is the drive and determination of the young who will save our planet.
OUR LOCALITY AND CHORLEY
During Lockdown, we studied our own locality and town. We used maps to locate places and then looked at places of interest. Finally we produced our own tourist pamphlets to celebrate Chorley.
Abigail even got a mention from the Anderton Centre on their Facebook page!
RIVERS
We have explored features of rivers from their source to the sea. We have used our knowledge to create models using plasticine to incorporate all the vocabulary and worked in teams of 4.
