Roald Dahl - George’s marvellous medicine experiment

Stages of life lesson and discovering how we grow and how we develop through each stage of life.

Today we learnt about our heart and the importance of exercise and the job of our heart. We took our resting heart rate then undertook different exercises to see how our heart rate increased then relaxed again when we rested.

We learnt about the importance of self hygiene and washing our hands. We took part in an investigation were we all applied glitter big to our hands then went to wash it off to see if we washed our hands thoroughly enough! We also put pieces of apple in a test tube that had been touched with dirty and washed hands to observe what would happen over a period of time.
