EYFS - 51% of our children achieved a 'Good Level of Development'

Our 2016 Results

 

Key Stage 2 Results 2016

 

We are incredibly proud of our children and the results they have achieved as the first cohort to complete the new, more challenging, end of Key Stage 2 Assessments.

Here are their results:

 

63% achieved the expected standard in Reading

72% achieved the expected standard in Writing

69% achieved the expected standard in Mathematics

78% achieved the expected standard in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling

43.8% achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

 

The average scaled scores (with 100 being above the expected standard) were:

Reading: 101.9

Maths: 101.1

Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling: 102.9

 

As a cohort they achieved the following progress scores:

 

Reading: +1.7

Writing: +2.2

Maths: +0.1

 

16% of our children achieved a high standard in Reading

16% of our children achieved a high standard in Writing

9% of our children achieved a high standard in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling

No-one achieved the higher standard in Mathematics this year.

 

Finally, this all means that the cohort achieved a scaled score of 102 in Reading, 103 in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling and 101 in Mathematics. 

 

Key Stage 1 & EYFS Results

69.8% achieved the expected standard in Reading with 4.7% assessed as working at a greater depth.

55.8% achieved the expected standard in Writing with 9.3% assessed as working at a greater depth.

69.8% achieved the expected standard in Mathematics with 7% assessed as working at a greater depth.

53.5% achieved the expected standard in Reading, Writing & Mathematics combined.

 

82.2% of Year 1 pupils passed the Phonics Screening Check

 

58.6% of pupils achieved a good level of development (GLD) by the end of the EYFS.

 

 

 

Key Stage 2 Results 2015

 

Here are the latest results for our pupils.  We are so proud of each and every one of our brilliant pupils who have worked so hard this year to achieve the best that they can...but it is not all about the results and we know that our pupils leave us as fantastic, mature and well rounded individuals who have received a full and complete curriculum in all subjects during their time with us, something which isn't reflected in a series of percentages.

Nevertheless, these are a set of scores they can be very proud to have been a part of!

 

Level 4 (Age related expectation)

 

93% of pupils achieved a Level 4 in Reading

91% of pupils achieved a Level 4 in Writing

84% of pupils achieved a Level 4 in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling

96% of pupils achieved a Level 4 in Mathematics

 

88% of pupils achieved a Level 4 or above in Reading, Writing & Maths

 

Level 5 (Above age related expectation)

 

51% of pupils achieved a Level 5 in Reading

44% of pupils achieved a Level 5 in Writing

58% of pupils achieved a Level 5 in Grammar, Punctuation & Spelling

40% of pupils achieved a Level 5 in Mathematics

(One pupils also achieved a Level 6 in Mathematics)

98% of pupils made the expected progress in Reading (National average = 92%)

100% of pupils made the expected progress in Writing (National average = 93%)

100% of pupils made the expected progress in Maths (National average = 89%)

44% of pupils made accelerated progress in Reading (National = 35%)

61% of pupils made accelerated progress in Writing (National 33%)

The current national expectation is that pupils will leave Year 2 working at a 'Level 2B'

Over the course of their time in Key Stage 1:

100% of pupils made the expected progress in Reading
