World Religion: Jewish Festival of Purim The Story of Queen Esther is significant for both Christians and Jews. Every Spring Jewish people celebrate the Festival of Purim and remember the remarkable actions of Esther. Esther shows incredible courage and saves her people. We looked at the importance of the story, its characters and the Jewish festival celebrations through acting out scenes from the story and hot-seating the main characters.

The Big Frieze - we looked closely at the different parts of the picture and discussed the ideas and images that we could see!
