A fab visit from Sam from the Dogs’ Trust this morning. She has been talking to us about ways we can keep safe around dogs and all about the dos and don’ts of approaching unfamiliar dogs. We have learned that we can’t predict a dog’s behaviour just from the way it looks.
We had great fun at our Reindeer Run raising donations for the Luv Preston charity.
Having fun whilst raising money for Children in Need:
We always have a good time when Freddy Fit comes to visit. We take part in lots of physical activity whilst also learning about how to keep our bodies healthy.
Beech class enjoyed their Yogi Yoga session. It made us feel very calm and relaxed, ready tackle the rest of our day.
Beech class went to the polls today and democracy has spoken......
We have been learning all about the British Value of democracy and rule of law as we begin reading our manifestos and campaigning around school to become elected as our new school councillors.
We have been thinking about our own personal identities and how a range of factors contribute towards making up our own unique identity. We know that we should be respectful of the similarities and differences between people and be accepting of other people's personal qualities that make up their identity.
