Occasions!

This morning we had a very exciting start to the day! We started with the big eyed jog which. The children loved! We then went back to class and those who had ordered, ate their bacon butty and had a drink. We then had some very special visitors - the major, Danny from ASDA, the guide dogs and their owners, Marcus Carver and a American football coach!

We have had a fantastic day at Blackpool Zoo! We saw elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers, peacocks, penguins and sea lions, penguins. We even had seafulls trying (and a few successful tries!) to take the children's sandwiches! 😀

This morning we have had a fantastic trip to ASDA! We have learnt how to use the tills and also learnt some codes for different fresh food items such as limes and an onion. We even got the opportunity to weight different fruit and veg and print a label off! We have also looked around the warehouse, fridge and freezers! We also looked where all the online home shopping gets prepared ready for delivery. We looked in the staff canteen and also the Travel Bureau! The children were a credit to St Peter's with their impeccable behaviour!
This afternoon we are celebrating those children who have 95% or above green dojo's! Those children are having a bunny drive and are hoping to win lots of chocolate eggs!
We had a treat this morning! Mrs Eastham brought in the chicks to visit! We learnt their names and also their personality!
Today we celebrated World Book Day! We dressed up as characters from the books of Julia Donaldson, Jaqueline Wilson, David Walliams and Roald Dahl!

This morning we celebrated 'Hope' in our class worship. The children told the story how the Israelites were told to leave their homes and not to follow God. God sent a message through John the Baptist to a man called Isaiah to tell the Israelites that the light was coming. Jesus came and showed them there was light and hope.

We are having a boogie at our Christmas party! 🎄🎉😃
Today we were joined by a very special visitor! He brought all the children a present and told them he would see them on Christmas Eve although they won't see him as they will be fast asleep! 🎅🎄
